Examination
1. In the UP position of the switch, the circuit must be between pins 1 and 2, and between pins 3 and 5.
2. In the OFF position of the switch, the circuit must be between pins 1 and 2, and between pins 4 and 5.
3. In the DOWN position of the switch, the circuit must be between pins 1 and 3, and also between pins 4 and 5.
4. If results of checks negative replace the switch. If the switch is OK, check the circuit between the switch and the motor.
5. If the same power window does not work from both switches, then remove the panel, turn on the power window and check the voltage at the switch and the electric motor.
6. If voltage is present on the electric motor, then disconnect the glass from the power window and check the freedom of its movement up and down. Check up also freedom of movement of a window regulator. If there is no damage and the glass moves freely, replace the motor. Otherwise lubricate parts or replace.
7. If there is no voltage at the motor, then check the wires from the switch to the motor. If a relay is provided in the circuit, then check the presence of voltage on the relay and its connection to ground.
