Before diagnosing any electrical circuit, check fuses and circuit breakers (if installed), to make sure they are in good condition. Check that the battery is charging and that the battery wire connections are clean and secure.
When checking wires, check that all connections and connectors are clean, with no broken or poorly connected pins. When disconnecting the connection connector, do not pull on the wires, grasp only the connector housing.
