1. Before working on electrical equipment, disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. If it is necessary to disconnect the battery for a check or repair, be sure to first disconnect the cable from the negative (-) terminal, which is connected to the vehicle body (ground).

3. When carrying out welding work, disconnect the battery and the electronic control unit connectors.

4. Do not open the ECU cover unless absolutely necessary, as the integrated circuit of the ECU may be damaged by static electricity.
