Do not use detergents, styrene powders, caustic soda, or petroleum-based cleaners when cleaning vinyl panels. For this purpose, regular soap in combination with warm water is perfect. Stubborn dirt is well removed with a soft brush. Vinyl panels should be cleaned at the same frequency as the body wash.
After cleaning, the panels can be treated with one of the high quality protective compounds for rubber and plastics to prevent them from oxidizing and cracking. The same products are suitable for the treatment of seals, vacuum lines and rubber hoses, which often fail as a result of chemical attack. They are also suitable for tire processing.
