The ignition key must be in the On position.
Under the influence of heat generated by thin wires of the heating element mounted on the inner surface, the glass quickly becomes clearer. When the rear window heating is switched on, the control lamp on the instrument panel lights up.
The rear window heater is switched off by pressing the button again. Switch off the heater immediately after the glass clears up, switching on the heater for a long time leads to battery discharge, especially on short trips. The heater is not intended for drying the glass in the rain or for melting snow.
Caution! Turn on the heater only when the engine is running.
When wiping the rear window, be careful not to damage the heating element.
