1. Put the car on the handbrake.

2. Open one of the side doors or the back door.

3. Close the door. The indicator light should go out.

4. Turn the ignition key to the ACC position. The airbag indicator light should come on and go out after 6 seconds.

5. Turn the ignition key to the On position, do not start the engine.

6. All the mnemonic indicator lights should come on, except for the fuel reserve indicator light and the airbag indicator light. The ABS indicator light should go out after 3 seconds.

7. If at least one of the indicator lights does not work as described above, then either the bulb has burned out or the alarm circuit needs repair. Contact the car service immediately.
