Locking the door with a key
To lock the door, turn the key towards the front of the car; to unlock, turn the key towards the rear of the car.
On vehicles equipped with electric door locks, all interior doors and the rear door (only in station wagon bodies) unlocked and locked simultaneously with the driver's side door.
Locking the door with a button
To lock the door, press the button; to unlock the door, release the button.
If you need to lock the door from the outside, press the button and then slam the door. When closing the door, hold the door handle in the pressed position. When slamming the door, do not forget to take the keys from the passenger compartment.
Locking the door using the handle on the inside of the door (for 3-door hatchback)
To lock the door, turn the handle forward, and to unlock, turn the handle backward.
On vehicles equipped with power door locks, the driver's side door can be opened from the inside even if the handle is in the locked position.
If you need to lock the door from the outside, move the handle to the locking position, then slam the door. When closing the door, hold the door handle in the pressed position. When slamming the door, do not forget to take the keys from the passenger compartment.
Locking the door with an electric lock
For simultaneous locking of all doors and the rear door (only for station wagons) press the switch on the lock side (Lock). To unlock, press the switch on the unlock side (Unlock).
