Locking the door with a key
To lock the door, turn the key towards the front of the vehicle; to unlock it, turn the key towards the rear.
On vehicles equipped with electric door locks, all interior doors and the rear door (only in station wagons) are unlocked and locked at the same time as the driver's side door.
Locking the door with a button
Press the button to lock the door, press the button to unlock the door.
If you need to lock the door from outside, press the button and then slam the door. When closing the door, keep the door handle pressed. When slamming the door, do not forget to take the keys from the passenger compartment.
Locking the door with the handle on the inside of the door (for 3 door hatchback)
Turn the handle forward to lock the door, and turn the handle back to unlock.
On vehicles equipped with power door locks, the driver's side door will open from the inside even if the handle is in the locked position.
If you need to lock the door from the outside, move the handle to the lock position, then slam the door. When closing the door, keep the door handle pressed. When slamming the door, do not forget to take the keys from the passenger compartment.
Locking the door with a power lock
For simultaneously locking all doors and the tailgate (only for station wagons) press the switch on the locking side (Lock). To unlock, press the switch on the unlock side (Unlock).
