The immobilizer is an anti-theft system. When the ignition key is inserted into the lock, the beacon chip generates a coded signal that is perceived by the car's anti-theft system. The engine will start only if the transmitted coded signal fully matches the vehicle identification code.
When the key is removed from the ignition lock, the identification code is automatically set.
When the vehicle's key is inserted into the ignition switch, the transmitted code overrides the anti-theft system that prevents the engine from starting.
To make a new key in a car service "Toyota" key number and master key required. It should be remembered that there is a limit on the number of keys that can be made in a car service "Toyota".
It is impossible to disable the anti-theft system and start the engine with a homemade duplicate.
