Remove the upholstery and dust and moisture protective film from the door.
Remove the glass from the door.
On models with a power window, disconnect the electrical connector from the window motor.

On models prior to 2001, remove the window regulator mounting bolts and remove it from the door (figure 14.37).

Models since 2001 are equipped with scissor-type window regulators. Mark the position of the upper roller guide, remove the window regulator mounting bolts, and remove it from the door (figure 14.38).
Install the front door window lifters in the reverse order of removal.
Lubricate the roller guide, roller and all moving joints of the window regulator.
Fix the dust and moisture protection film, installing it without folds or tears. The surface to which the dust and moisture protective film is applied must be perfectly clean.
