Check the condition of the door hinges by opening the door and lifting it up without lifting the body. If the door movement is more than 1.6 mm, then replace the door hinges.
After installing the door, check that the gap around the perimeter of the door is the same everywhere, and also that the outer surface of the door is on the same level with the rest of the body elements.
To adjust the gap around the perimeter of the door, loosen the bolts securing the door hinges to the door and, moving the door, adjust its position, then tighten the mounting bolts. If it is impossible to adjust the position of the door in this way, then purchase and place adjusting plates under the hinges.
Close the door and check that the door lock is in contact with the center of the pawl, otherwise loosen the bolts and adjust the position of the pawl by moving it vertically.

Lastly, loosen the bolts and adjust the position of the door lock pawl in a horizontal plane so that the tailgate is flush with the body elements (pic. 14.43).
