To use the cigarette lighter, push it inward (figure 1.14). Once heated, the cigarette lighter will automatically spring out and be ready for use.
When the engine is not running, the ignition key must be in the "ACC" position. Do not forcefully hold the cigarette lighter in. The cigarette lighter must be replaced with a genuine Toyota cigarette lighter or equivalent.
To use the ashtray, open the lid. After smoking a cigarette, carefully extinguish the butt in the ashtray to prevent other butts in the ashtray from igniting. When using an ashtray, close the lid completely.
To remove the ashtray, open the lid and pull it out.
