To ensure an even distribution of air throughout the passenger compartment, keep the air intake grilles clean and ensure that the air supply ducts are not blocked.
Pic. 1.16. Heating and ventilation control panel
Heating and ventilation are controlled by moving the handles on the control panel (pic. 1.16).
The air temperature adjustment knob allows you to set the desired temperature in the cabin.
The temperature gradually increases as the knob is moved.
By moving the air flow control knob, the amount of air entering the passenger compartment is changed.
The heated rear window only functions when the ignition is on. When the heating is on, the corresponding control lamp in the switch lights up.
On vehicles with electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, the heating of the mirror surfaces is switched on simultaneously with the activation of the heated rear window.
As soon as the rear window is free of mist or ice, switch off the heating immediately: reducing electricity consumption has a positive effect on fuel consumption.
When the air conditioner is operating, the temperature of the incoming air, the fan speed and the distribution of air flows are automatically changed. To turn on the air conditioner, press the A/C button. The air conditioner only works when the ventilation is on.
