To turn on, press the cigarette lighter button. When it is hot enough, the button automatically "unclicks".
When the engine is not running, the ignition key must be in the ACC position.
Do not hold the cigarette lighter pressed.
Extinguish the cigarette thoroughly to avoid igniting the next butt. After using the ashtray, push it back as far as it will go.
To remove the ashtray, press the spring clip and pull out the container. When replacing, install only a Toyota cigarette lighter or equivalent.
