Removal



1. Raise the front of the car and remove the wheels.



2. Loosen the tie rod end lock nut.



3. Mark the position of the tip on the threaded portion of the rod.



4. Remove the cotter pin from the ball joint castle nut.



5. Loosen the ball joint castle nut.



6. Use a puller to press the hinge pin out of the steering knuckle.

7. Unscrew the nut and remove the rod from the knuckle eye.

8. Unscrew the tip and screw on a new one, aligning the marks.

Installation



9. Then assembly is carried out in reverse order.

10. Tighten the nut to the specified torque.
