It is necessary to remove air from the hydraulic drive of the steering wheel during any disassembly of the line, regardless of the measures that have been taken to prevent air from entering.
1. Set the wheels to the straight ahead position.
2. Check the fluid level, restore if necessary, topping up to the Cold mark on the tank dipstick.
3. Start the engine and put it into fast idle mode.
4. Check fluid level.
5. Turn the wheels in both directions until they stop, avoiding hitting the limiter.
6. Check and restore fluid level.
7. Return wheels to straight ahead position.
8. Stop the engine after a few minutes.
9. Check the fluid level, which should be at the Hot mark when the engine is warm.
10. Top up if necessary.
