The remote control system includes a remote control transmitter that sends a coded infrared signal to a receiver that controls the locking system. The transmitter also controls the warning system, which includes light and sound signals.

If the red LED does not light when you press the transmitter button, replace the transmitter battery. Due to deterioration of battery parameters over time, the transmitter's range decreases.

To replace the battery, use a small screwdriver to separate the transmitter housing, replace the battery, strictly observing the polarity when installing the new battery, then connect the two halves of the housing until they click.
