The following order of complete engine disassembly is recommended:
  • collectors;
  • cylinder head covers;
  • chain cover, chain, drive parts (4-cylinder engines);
  • timing belt covers belt, sprockets (on V6 engines);
  • cylinder head;
  • pallet;
  • oil pump;
  • balance shaft (4-cylinder engines);
  • connecting rods and pistons;
  • seals;
  • crankshaft.
