Warning! Vehicles are equipped with safety systems (SRS), including airbags and seat belt tensioners. Before working near the impact sensors, instrument panel, and steering column, disconnect the negative and then positive terminals from the battery and wait 2 minutes. This will prevent unauthorized deployment of the airbags and seat belt pretensioners, which could cause injury.
Remove the front fenders as follows:
Apply the parking brake and block the rear wheels with chocks.
Loosen the front wheel mounting nuts.
Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.
Remove the front wheel.
Open the hood.
On pre-2001 models, remove the panel located under the headlight.
On 2001 and later models, remove the grille.
Remove the front bumper (see above).
Remove the headlight.

Release the clips, unscrew the screws and remove the front wheel arch mudguard (figure 14.12).
If the right fender is removed, remove the radio antenna. When removing the left wing, remove the hood support pillar in the open position.
Open the front door and remove the upper bolt securing the wing to the car body.
Remove the lower bolt securing the wing to the car body.

Remove the wing mounting bolt, accessible from under the wheel arch (figure 14.13).

Remove the front wing mounting bolt (figure 14.14).

Remove 3 bolts securing the upper part of the front fender (figure 14.15).

Remove the fender from the vehicle, being careful not to scratch the body panels located near the fender.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
Install the front fender onto the vehicle, align the screw holes and fasteners and secure it.
When installing the wing, make sure that the gaps between the wing and the hood, as well as between the wing and the front door, are uniform along the entire length.
