Warning! Cars are equipped with security systems (SRS), including airbags and seat belt tensioners. Before carrying out work near the shock sensors, the instrument panel and the steering column, first disconnect the negative and then the positive terminals from the battery and wait 2 minutes. This will prevent unauthorized deployment of the airbags and deployment of the seat belt pretensioners, which could cause injury.
Remove the front fenders as follows:
Apply the parking brake and chock the rear wheels.
Loosen the front wheel nuts.
Raise the front of the car and place it on stands.
Remove the front wheel.
Open the hood.
On models up to 2001, remove the panel located under the headlight.
On models from 2001, remove the grille.
Remove the front bumper (see above).
Remove headlight.

Release the clamps, remove the screws and remove the front wheel arch mudguard (pic. 14.12).
If the right fender is removed, remove the radio antenna. When removing the left fender, remove the hood support in the open position.
Open the front door and remove the top bolt securing the fender to the car body.
Turn out the bottom bolt of fastening of a wing to a car body.

Unscrew the wing bolt, accessible from under the wheel arch (pic. 14.13).

Loosen the front fender bolt (pic. 14.14).

Remove the 3 bolts securing the upper part of the front fender (pic. 14.15).
Remove the fender from the vehicle, being careful not to scratch the body panels adjacent to the fender.
Install in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
Install the front fender to the vehicle, align the screw holes and the retainers, and secure it.
When installing the wing, check that the gaps between the wing and the hood, as well as between the wing and the front door, are uniform along the entire length.
