Precautions regarding front seats (with SRS side airbags)
SRS side airbags are installed in the driver's and front passenger's seats.
Do not lean heavily on the front door when driving. The side air bags inflate with great speed and force, you may be seriously injured.
Do not modify or replace seats or seat surfaces with side air bags. This may cause the system to malfunction or cause the air bags to inflate, resulting in serious injury.
Precautions when adjusting seats
Adjust the driver's seat so that you have easy access to the foot pedals, steering wheel, and instrument panel controls.
Do not make adjustments while driving as the seat may move unexpectedly, resulting in loss of vehicle control.
After adjusting the seat, try moving it back and forth to make sure it is locked in place.
Do not place any objects under the seats. They may interfere with the seat locking mechanism and unexpectedly push the seat adjustment lever upwards; the seat may move suddenly, resulting in loss of vehicle control.
When adjusting the seat, do not place your hands under the seat or near moving parts.
Front seat adjustment (manually adjustable seat)

1 – Seat position adjustment lever.
Pull the lever up. Then move the seat to the desired position with a slight force of your body and release the lever.
2 – Seat cushion height adjustment handle.
Turn the handle in one of the directions.
3 – Seat back angle adjustment lever.
Tilt forward and pull the lever up. Then tilt back to the desired angle and release the lever.
4 – Seat lumbar support adjustment lever.

Warning! To reduce the risk of movement under the lap belt during a collision, avoid reclining the seatback more than necessary. Seat belts provide maximum protection in a frontal or rear collision when the driver and passengers sit upright and lean back against the seatbacks. If you are in a semi-recumbent position, the lap belt may slip past your hips and compress your abdomen.
Front seat adjustment (electrically adjustable seat)

Move the adjustment lever to the desired position. When you release the switch, the seat will stop in this position. Do not place anything under the front seats. This may prevent the seat from moving.
2 – Seat back angle adjustment switch.
Move the adjustment lever in the desired direction. When you release the switch, the seat will stop in the corresponding position.
3 – Seat lumbar support adjustment lever.
