Front Seat Precautions (with SRS side airbags)
SRS side airbags are installed in the driver's seat and in front of the seated passengers.
Do not lean heavily on the front door while driving. The side airbags inflate with great speed and force, and you could be seriously injured.
Do not modify or replace seats or seat surfaces with side air bags. Doing so may damage the system or cause the airbags to inflate, resulting in serious injury.
Seat Adjustment Precautions
Adjust the driver's seat for easy access to the foot pedals, steering wheel, and instrument panel controls.
Do not make any adjustments while driving, as the seat may move unexpectedly, resulting in loss of vehicle control.
After adjusting the seat, try moving it back and forth to make sure it is locked in place.
Do not place any objects under the seats. They can break the seat locking mechanism and unexpectedly push up the seat adjustment lever; The seat may suddenly move, resulting in loss of vehicle control.
Do not place your hands under the seat or near moving parts while adjusting the seat.
