Removing
Remove grille.
Remove the front bumper.
Remove the locker in the wheel well.
Disconnect the antenna from the wing, if any.
Loosen hex bolts, see fig. G-4814.
Thanks to the protective coating of the bottom and the sealing tape, the wing sits very tightly. For dismantling the wing, a hair dryer can be useful, which creates a temperature of about + 450°C. If there is no hair dryer, then the wing can be separated with a sharp knife.
Attention: Do not heat up the protective coating of the bottom for a long time. Overheating of the coating leads to a change in its color and the formation of bubbles. The resulting vapors are harmful to health and cause corrosion.
Carefully, section by section, separate the wing.
Installation
If necessary, cover the wing with varnish.
Clean the landing surfaces of the wing. Straighten if necessary.
Coat with anti-corrosion agent the junctions of the wing with the body frame and door pillars.
Apply sealing tape to the seating surfaces.
Install the wing, align it and secure it with bolts. Ensure that there is an even gap between the hood, fender and door.
Caution: Do not overtighten the fixing bolts. Tightening force 5 Nm.
Coat the inner surface of the wing with an anti-corrosion agent.
Install an antenna, if available.
Install wheel cover locker.
Install bumper.
Install the grille.
