Removal
1. Drain the transmission fluid.
2. Remove the lower engine guard.
3. Remove the right and left drive shafts.
4. Remove the left and right drive shaft seals using a puller.

Installation
1. Install the left drive shaft oil seal.
- c) Install a new oil seal. Press-in depth of the oil seal:
- A241L: 2.2-3.2mm
- A240E, A241E before 1996: 5.3 mm
- A132L, A241EC 1996: 0±0.5 mm
- A245E: 5.3±0.5 mm
- A540H: 0±0.3 mm

- b) Lubricate the working edge of the seal with consistent grease.
2. Install the right drive shaft oil seal.
- a) Using a mandrel, install a new oil seal. Press-in depth of the oil seal:
- Models before 1996: 0±0.5 mm
- A132L, A241E since 1996: 0±0.5 mm
- A245E: 5.3±0.5 mm
- A540H: 0±0.3 mm

- b) Lubricate the working edge of the seal with consistent grease.
3. Install the drive shafts.
4. Install the lower engine guard.
5. Wash down the working fluid in the gearbox.
Caution: Do not overfill above the specified level.
6. Check the fluid level.
