Some electrical circuits are protected by fusible links. Fusible links are commonly used in ignition system circuits and high current circuits. Essentially, a fuse link is a high-current fuse.
On models prior to 2001, the fuse box is located in the engine compartment near the battery.
On models from 2001 onwards, the fuse box is located in the engine compartment on the right side of the front suspension strut.
