Location of fusible links
The cassette type fusible links are located at the rear of the main relay and fuse mounting block.
Fusible links are designed to protect the circuit under high current overloads. The links are used in high-current circuits that cannot be protected by a regular fuse. The vehicles in question use cassette-type jumpers, which are located in the relay and fuse box in the engine compartment. Vehicles equipped with Traction Control have a second block of fusible links on the right side of the radiator support. Some of the jumpers are secured with a screw.
