Check and replace
1. Disconnect the connector from the distributor and measure the resistance between the terminals (G and G-) of the induction sensor.
2. If the measured resistance differs from the norm, replace the distributor assembly.
Checking the gap between the winding and the rotor
1. Remove the distributor cap.
2. Using a brass feeler gauge, measure the gap between the rotor and the induction sensor protrusion.
3. If the gap differs from the norm, replace the distributor.
