Distributor
1. Lid; 2. Slider; 3. Case; 4. Distributor body; 5. Coil; 6. Capacitor; 7. Induction sensor; 8. Dustproof booth
Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
2. Disconnect the connectors from the distributor.
3. Find the output mark of the 1st cylinder on the cover. If there is no mark on the cover, then find the corresponding output along the wire from the 1st cylinder.
4. Remove the distributor cap, turn the crankshaft and set the slider opposite the output of the 1st cylinder.
5. Make a mark on the lower distributor housing just below the slider pointer (indicated by an arrow).
6. Also mark the position of the distributor housing on the cylinder head (shown by arrows).
7. If it is provided for fastening with two bolts with shoulders for the flange, then loosen these bolts (to ensure free movement of the distributor shaft) but do not turn away completely.
8. Turn away a bolt of fastening of the distributor, then give the distributor in a horizontal direction and get it. Turning the crankshaft after removing the distributor is not allowed. If the crankshaft still turned, then set the piston of the 1st cylinder to the TDC of the compression stroke and orient the slider and the distributor housing.
9. Align the notch on the distributor gear with the groove on the housing.
10. Insert the distributor into the engine, accurately orienting the body according to the marked marks.
11. If the distributor is not installed in place, then once again check the marks made before disassembly. Install the distributor exactly according to these marks.
12. Tighten the distributor mounting bolt.
13. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order.
11. Check ignition timing (see subsection 11.6), tighten the mounting bolt.
