For cars "Toyota 4 Runner/Hilux/Surf" 4-cylinder injection engines are installed (in-line cylinder) or 6-cylinder (with V-shaped cylinder arrangement) engines with cylinder volumes of 2.7 and 3.4 liters, respectively. The cars have rear-wheel drive (hereinafter 2WD) or all-wheel drive (hereinafter 4WD).

Front suspension independent, with struts (spring with shock absorber), levers and a stabilizer cross member. The rear axle is made in the form of a rigid beam with springs and shock absorbers, connected to the body by 4 longitudinal and one transverse rod.

The steering is rack and pinion. The front brakes are disc brakes, the rear brakes are drum brakes, equipped with a vacuum booster.
