The control system includes: a pump, a valve block, electromagnetic valves (solenoids), hydraulic accumulators, clutches and brakes.
The main pressure in the system is created by the pump, it is regulated depending on the load and speed of the vehicle, and ensures the operation of the torque converter, locking clutches and brakes.
The shift valves control the flow of fluid that goes into the torque converter and planetary gearbox.
The valve block contains three solenoids No.1, No.2, used for gear shifting, and No.3, which controls the torque converter lockup clutch. The A245E valve block has an additional solenoid for controlling the quality of the torque converter lockup.
