Compressor mounting parts on a 4-cylinder engine





1. Bracket; 2. Belt; 3. Engine shields; 4. Tighten with a torque wrench; 5. Outlet hose; 6. Suction hose; 7. Ring


Compressor and related parts on a 3.4L V6 engine





1. Power steering pump; 2, 3. Belt; 4. Engine shields; 5. Tighten with a torque wrench 6. Outlet hose; 7. Suction hose; 8. Ring; 9. Bracket


Removal



1. Depressurize the air conditioner and remove the refrigerant at a car service center.

2. Disconnect the battery from ground.

3. Remove the belt from the compressor.

4. Disconnect the connector and disconnect the refrigerant pipes.

5. Loosen the compressor mounting bolts and remove the compressor.



6. If a new compressor is being installed, follow all procedures specified in the enclosed instructions.

Installation



1. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
