Temperature controller
The temperature switch changes the temperature of the air entering the passenger compartment.
When you turn the switch towards HIGH, the temperature increases, and when you turn it towards LOW, it decreases.
Air circulation regulator
The air circulation regulator must be used to supply fresh air or to recirculate air in the vehicle interior.
When the regulator is in position "OUTSIDE AIR" fresh air from outside enters the cabin.
To ensure air recirculation, set the regulator to position "RECIRCULATED AIR".
In the middle position of the regulator, mixed air enters the car interior.
Fan switch
The fan switch is used to turn on the fan and change its speed.
The air supply is determined by the rotation speed of the blower fan. Therefore, the fan should be turned on while driving.
climate control
The climate control switch turns on the air conditioning system.
If the light on the climate control switch is flashing, you should contact a TOYOTA service station, as there is a malfunction in the system. In this case, the climate control is automatically turned off.
Heating

1. Set the temperature control to any position except "LOW". For uniform air distribution throughout the cabin, set the air distribution switch to the center.
2. Set the air circulation knob to the position "OUTSIDE AIR". If you need fast circulation of warm air, set the regulator to the position "RECIRCULATED AIR" or "BLEND".
3. Set the air circulation knob to the "FLO OR" position. If you need quick circulation of warm air at face level, set the regulator to the "BI-LEVEL" position.
Set the fan switch to any position other than "OFF".
4. If you need dry air, press the climate control button.
Cooling
1. Set the temperature control to any position between the middle position and the "LOW" position.
If you need warm air supply at two levels, set the regulator to the middle position.
2. Set the air circulation knob to the position "OUTSIDE AIR".
If you need rapid circulation of cool air, set the control to the position "RECIRCULATED AIR" or "BLEND".
3. Set the air circulation knob to the "FACE" position.
If you need fast circulation of warm air at face level, set the regulator to the "BI-LEVEL" position.
4. Set the fan switch to any position other than "OFF".
5. Turn the climate control button "OFF".
Ventilation
1. Set the temperature control to the "LOW" position.
2. Set the air circulation knob to the position "OUTSIDE AIR".
3. Set the air circulation knob to the "FACE" position.
4. Set the fan switch knob to any position other than "OFF".
5. Turn the climate control button "OFF".
Removal condensation from the front glass
1. Set the temperature control to any position.
2. Set the air circulation knob to the position "OUTSIDE AIR".
3. Set the air circulation knob to the position "WINDSHIELD".
4. Set the fan switch knob to any position other than "OFF".
5. Turn the climate control button "OFF".
Air flow distribution
The "FACE" position directs the air flow into the cabin at face level.
The "BI-LEVEL" position directs the air flow into the cabin at face level and to the feet.
The "FLOOR" position directs more air into the cabin to the feet and partially to face level.
Position "WINDSHIELD" - directs the air flow mainly to the windshield, the front part of the side windows and the face.
