Opening: Press the SLIDE switch.
Closing: Press the switch on the side opposite SLIDE.
Movement is accomplished by pressing and holding the switch.
As a safety precaution, the roof panel stops when closed at 3/4 of its travel. To close completely, release and press the switch again.
The roof panel can be opened by simply pressing the UP switch. To close it, press the switch on the side opposite the UP switch.
To open the manual roof panel, pull the handle down while pressing one of the closing buttons, then open the panel upward until it locks into place. To close, pull the handle down while holding the panel with your hand, then close the handle with the palm of your hand.

To remove the removable roof panel, pull the handle down while pressing one of the closing buttons. Remove the panel mounting spring levers from their sockets by squeezing them towards each other and lift the panel up (figure 1.20). Unlock the auxiliary hook and use a twisting motion to remove the roof panel from the vehicle. Secure the roof panel to its designated location on the tailgate. To do this, unscrew the locking paw on the tailgate, install the roof panel on the supports and attach the paw to the panel handles (figure 1.21). The front part of the support is designed to accommodate the large (front) roof panel, and the rear part is designed to accommodate the small (rear) panel.

To reinstall the removable roof panel, insert the panel hinges into the designated slots, then tilt the panel down while holding it with your hand and insert the spring levers into the sockets. Press the roof panel handle and close it.
