Lean forward and pull out the lock release handle (pic. 1.26). Then tilt the backrest to the desired position and release the handle.
Attention! Adjustment should not be made while the vehicle is moving.
Warning! To reduce the risk of slipping under the lap belt in a collision, do not recline the seat back more than necessary. The seat belts provide maximum protection when the occupants are seated upright and have moved as far back in the seat as possible. If you lean back, the lap belt can slip off in a collision and put a lot of pressure on your abdomen. Therefore, in a collision, the risk of injury increases with the increase in backrest deviation from the vertical.
Attention! To complete the seatback reclining adjustment, push it down with your back to make sure it is secure.
