If a rebuilt engine is purchased, then all attachments must be removed and subsequently installed in exactly the same order on a new engine. These units include:
- exhaust gas emission control elements;
- distributor (only on engines up to 1997);
- high-voltage wires and ignition coils;
- thermostat and thermostat cover;
- water pump (only on engines since 2001);
- bypass pipe of the cooling system;
- intake and exhaust manifolds;
- oil filter;
- supports;
- flywheel/ drive plate.
If an incomplete cylinder block is purchased, then it is necessary to remove and install on a new engine:
- toothed belt or timing chain;
- cylinder head;
- oil pump;
- water pump (only on engines up to 2001);
