Accelerator pedal position sensor (APP)
Note: The accelerator pedal position sensor is located on the top of the accelerator pedal assembly. The sensor is removed together with the pedal as a single unit.
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (see paragraph 1 of chapter 5).
2. Disconnect the wiring connector from the accelerator pedal position sensor.
3. Remove the accelerator pedal/accelerator pedal position sensor assembly.
Installation
4. Installation of the accelerator pedal/sensor unit is carried out in the reverse order of its removal. Make sure the assembly mounting bolts are securely tightened.
