This sensor converts the angle of rotation of the accelerator pedal into electrical signals with two different characteristics and transmits them to the electronic engine control unit (Fig. 2.46). One signal (VPA) is a linear change in voltage over the entire range of the angle of rotation of the accelerator pedal, the other is a signal (VPA2) of the offset voltage.
