Throttle Body Check
1. Remove the intake duct and throttle body.
2. Check for clearance between stop and throttle lever (damper closed).
3. Make sure the secondary air damper is (1) fully open.
Throttle position sensor test
1. Measure the resistance between the sensor terminals.
2. Insert a feeler gauge between the throttle stop and lever.
3. Measure the resistance between the sensor terminals.
4. Fully open the throttle.
5. Measure the resistance between the sensor terminals.

Gap - Resistance
VC and E2 - 2500-5900 Ohm
VTA and E2 - 0 mm.200 - 5800 Ohm
IDL and E2 - 0 mm to 2300 ohms
1.6 mm - infinity
VTA and E2 throttle open - 1400 - 9500 ohms

Terminal - Voltage
1. VC 5 - B (nutrition)
2. VTA
Idle - 0.45 V
Acceleration - voltage increases with increasing speed
3. IDL
Idling - 0 V
Acceleration - changes abruptly to 13 V when you press the accelerator pedal.
4. E2 - "Earth"
