Caution! Take measures to prevent the airbag from deploying (see subsection 11.44).
1. Remove the front grille.
2. Trace the outline of the latch on the radiator stand and unscrew the mounting bolts (indicated by arrows).
3. Pull back the hood latch and unhook the cable (front grill removed).
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
5. If the bolts are loose, adjust the latch position and tighten the bolts.
6. To replace the cable, disconnect the brackets and latches along its entire route.
7. Remove the lower trim panel, remove the cable lever from the front panel and unscrew the mounting screws (arrows).

8. Pry and remove the cable from the bracket and unhook it from the lever.
9. Attach a thin wire to the end of the cable on the interior side and pull the cable into the engine compartment.
10. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
