Attention! Wiring and connectors of the pneumatic safety system (SRS systems) are yellow in color and must not be moved or connected to testing devices.
Lock

1. Draw the contours of the hood lock, remove the plastic cover that is attached with pins. Unscrew the lock mounting bolts (arrows) and remove the lock.

2. Pry up and remove the lock drive cable holder and unhook the cable.
3. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Adjust the position of the lock so that when closing the hood, the buffers are slightly pressed and the hood is securely locked.
Cable

1. Pry up and remove the lock drive cable retainer and disconnect the cable from the lock.

2. Attach a piece of wire of sufficient length to the cable and release all the cable sheath fastening brackets on the front bulkhead.
3. Remove the plastic wheel arch protection (see subsection 11.12.).
4. Inside the cabin, remove the driver's side threshold trim and the side trim.

5. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the lock cable drive lever and remove the lever.
6. Pull the cable with the seal and wire into the passenger compartment. Disconnect the old cable and connect the new one, making sure it has the seal.
7. Pull the new cable into the sheath by the wire.
8. Install the cable housing into the cable lever, making sure that the end of the housing fits snugly into the recess in the lever handle bracket.
9. Then the installation is carried out in the reverse order. Insert the cable seal into the hole in the engine compartment partition.
