Bleeding the power steering system [Toyota Duet M100]

1. Pour the working fluid into the tank so that the upper level of the working fluid on the dipstick is 10-15 mm above the "MAX" mark in the "COLD" range.

2. Start the engine at idle speed. After air bubbles stop appearing in the working fluid, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock, holding it in the extreme position for 2-3 seconds. Repeat this procedure three to four times.

Notes:

• Do not hold the steering wheel in the extreme position for more than 10 seconds to prevent the working fluid temperature from becoming too high.
• At a temperature of 40 - 80°C, the liquid in the tank should be in the "HOT" range.

• Maximum increase in liquid level in the tank is 5 mm

3. Check for foaming or emulsification of the fluid. If foaming or emulsification is present, check for leaks in the system.
