Starter bolts and wires (4-cylinder engine)





1. Starter; 2. Connector; 3. Power cable


1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Raise the front of the car.

3. Disconnect the wires from the starter.



4. Loosen the starter bolts (2.7L engine, view from the clutch housing).

5. Remove the bracket from the top of the starter.

Caution: On all-wheel drive vehicles, you will need to remove the front wheel and fender guard.




6. On some vehicles, access to the starter is provided through the wheel arch.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
