Using the radio
1. Turn on the receiver by turning the knob "PWR.VOL" clockwise.
2. Adjust the volume further by turning the knob "PWR.VOL".
3. Tune in to the desired station (see paragraphs below. 1–10 and paragraphs. 1–6).
4. For VHF reception (FM) - radio stations switch to VHF reception mode (FM), select stereo or monaural reception.
5. If a FM stereo transmission is received, the receiver will automatically switch to stereo reception and ST will appear on the display at the same time.
6. If the signal is weak, then switch to mono mode by pressing the appropriate button. The MONO symbol will appear on the display.
7. Adjust tone and balance (see below).
8. To turn off the receiver, turn the knob "PWR.VOL" counterclockwise.
Station tuning
1. To select mono or stereo, press the LM/U button. L.MW or UKW will appear on the display.
2. Tune in to the desired station using one of the methods below. The tuning frequency value will appear on the display.
Setting in software mode
3. Press the station selection button that has been memorized in advance. The receiver will automatically tune in to that station, and the display will show the button number (see below).
4. Continuous search mode. This mode searches for a station. When a station is received, tuning stops automatically.
5. Press both sides of the TUNE button at the same time and wait for a continuous beep.
6. The receiver will automatically search for the nearest higher or lower frequency station.
7. After a confident reception, the tuning stops.
8. The next time you press the button, the search will continue until the next station is reliably received.
9. If, due to a too weak signal, it is not possible to tune in after a single scan of the entire frequency range, the search will continue, but with increased sensitivity, and the DX symbol will appear on the display.
Manual setting
10. Press both sides of the TUNE button simultaneously for no more than 0.5 seconds. Each time the button is pressed, it jumps to a frequency where broadcasting is possible.
Setting programming
1. Tune in to the desired station (see above).
2. Press the station select button and wait for the beep.
3. In this case, the station will automatically turn on when you press this button, the number of which will appear on the display.
4. Each button can store one AM station and one VHF station.
5. To memorize a new station, repeat the above procedure.
6. A preset station is cleared when the power is turned off (disconnected battery, blown fuse, etc.).
Receiving an ARI station (traffic information)
1. Press the LM/U button. The UKW symbol will appear on the display.
2. Click on the VF button. The receiver will switch to ARI receive mode and VF will appear on the display.
3. Tune in to the desired station broadcasting ARI information (see fig. higher). Once tuned to an ARI station, SK will appear on the display.
4. To cancel the ARI broadcast, press the VF button again.
Tone setting
Provided by turning the TONE knob.
Balance setting
Pull the PWR.VOL knob towards you and turn.
