Two-wheel drive models can be towed with the front end of the vehicle and the front wheels off the road (use a tow truck). When towing backwards, the front wheels must be on the cart. Four wheel drive models should be towed with all four wheels raised. A tow truck with a suspension of the car should not be used, as this will cause damage to the body. The best way to tow your car is with a flatbed tow truck.
In an emergency, the vehicle can be towed a short distance using a cable or chain connected to one of the towing eyes located under the front or rear bumper. The driver must remain in the vehicle to control the steering and brakes (remember that the power steering and vacuum brake booster will not work when the engine is off).
