Attention: it is strictly forbidden to tow 4WD vehicles using the partial loading method, i.e. with raising one of the axles of the car.
Attention: towing cars with automatic transmission is allowed at a speed of no more than 30 km/h for a distance of no more than 50 km. If it is necessary to tow a longer distance, it must be carried out either by the method of full loading or by the method of partial loading of the vehicle.
2WD Models
Use extreme caution when towing your vehicle. Avoid sudden starts and sudden maneuvers that could put excessive force on the towline or chain. The hinges, towline or chain can break and cause serious injury or damage.
When towing your vehicle, do the following:
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Set shift lever to neutral position (manual transmission) or selector to position "N" (automatic transmission).
3. The center differential must be unlocked (the button is not pressed, the corresponding indicator is off).
4. The ignition key must be in position "ACC" (engine not running) or "ON" (engine running).
Note: If the engine is not running, then the brake and steering boosters will not work, so the forces on the controls will be much more than usual.
5. Exercise caution when towing a stuck vehicle. Stay away from vehicles and tow lines.
