Attention! Never climb under the car or start the engine when the jack is the only support.
All cars are equipped with a jack «parallelogram type». When placing the jack under the vehicle, the head of the jack should be in contact with the groove in the bottom rail seam between the two depressions (see fig.)
The car must stand on a flat, horizontal platform, chocks must be installed under the wheels, and in the gearbox (automatic) parking gear must be engaged. Pry off the hub cap (in the presence of) wedge end of the wheel wrench and remove it. Loosen the wheel nuts half a turn, but leave them in place until the wheel is lifted off the deck.
Position the jack under the appropriate side of the vehicle in a designated area. Using the handle provided, turn the jack screw clockwise until the wheel is clear of the deck. Completely unscrew the wheel nuts, remove the wheel and replace it with a spare.
Reinstall the wheel nuts with the beveled side inward and tighten them securely. Lower the vehicle by turning the jack screw counterclockwise. Remove the jack and tighten the nuts in a criss-cross pattern to the prescribed torque specified in «Technical Data» in chapter 1. If a torque wrench is missing, have the tightening torque checked by a workshop as soon as possible. Reinstall the hub cap, using the bottom of your hand or a rubber mallet to seat it in place.
The head of the jack is fixed on the flange of the lower trim, between two recesses (on each side of the car there are two places for installing a jack)
