Attention! If the vehicle is equipped with electronically controlled air suspension, turn off the suspension height control switch.
37. The transfer case is not equipped with a dipstick. To check the fluid level, raise the vehicle and place secure supports under it. There is a check plug on the back of the transfer case housing (pic. 4.37). Open it. If the oil level is correct, it should correspond to the lower edge of the control hole.

38. If the gearbox requires topping up the oil (the level does not reach the hole), add oil using a syringe or a gear oil filler. Stop filling the gearbox when oil starts to flow out of the hole.
39. Screw in the plug and tighten it securely. Drive a short distance and then check for leaks.
