Attention! Vehicles are equipped with safety systems (SRS), including airbags and seat belt tensioners. Before working near the impact sensors, instrument panel, and steering column, disconnect the negative and then positive terminals from the battery and wait 2 minutes. This will prevent unauthorized deployment of the airbags and seat belt pretensioners, which could cause injury.
Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Remove the instrument cluster visor.

Remove the screws and move the instrument cluster towards the steering wheel (figure 15.29).
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear of the instrument cluster.
Cover the steering wheel and instrument panel with a clean cloth and remove the instrument cluster.
Install the instrument cluster in the reverse order of removal.
