Using the blade of a screwdriver as a lever, separate the hazard warning light switch and remove it from the instrument panel (pic. 15.24).
Disconnect an electric socket, wring out a clamp and take the switch from a casing.

Turn out screws and remove the central overlay from the panel of devices (see fig. 14.51).

Remove the screws and pull the heater control unit out of the instrument panel, then disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the switch (pic. 15.25). Press the latch and remove the switch from the casing.
Install the emergency light switch in the reverse order of removal.
