Using a screwdriver blade as a lever, pry the hazard warning light switch out of the instrument panel (figure 15.26). to avoid scratching the dashboard, wrap the screwdriver blade with tape or a rag.
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the switch.
Removal the outside mirror adjustment switch on 2001 and later models
Proceed as follows.

Using a screwdriver blade as a lever, pry the switch base away from the instrument panel (figure 15.27). To avoid scratching the instrument panel, wrap the screwdriver blade with tape or a rag.
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the switch.
Install the switch for adjusting the position of the outside mirror of both types in the reverse order of removal.
