Check the electrical circuit of the wiper motor as follows:
Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor, turn on the wiper with the switch and check with the tester probe that battery voltage is applied to one of the connector pins. If the following checks do not give positive results, it is necessary to contact a service station for repair.
If the wiper blades move slowly, check the battery charge. If the battery is fully charged, remove the wiper motor and manually move the wiper arms.
Check all wiper links and lubricate link joints.
If the wiper blades are still moving slowly, check the electrical connectors and wire connections for corrosion, especially at the connections to «weight». If all connections and connectors are in good condition, replace the wiper motor.

If the wipers do not work when turned on, check the integrity of the fuse (pic. 15.30).
If the fuse is good, connect the connection point with an additional wire to «weight» on the engine and with the negative battery terminal. If the wiper motor starts to run, reconnect the motor to «weight». If the engine still does not run, use the switch to turn on the wipers and check that there is voltage to the engine. The hood must be removed to access the electrical connector.
If voltage is present at the connector pins, remove the wiper motor and check its operation by connecting it with additional wires to the battery terminals. If the engine is running, check all wiper arms and lubricate the linkage joints.
If there is no voltage at the motor connector pins, check for voltage at the wiper relay pins. If voltage is applied to the wiper relay contacts, check the wiper switch. If the switch is OK, the relay is probably bad. Remove the relay and check it.
If the intermittent wiper does not work, check the electrical circuit between the switch and the wiper control module.
If the wiper blades do not reset when the switch is turned off, check that voltage is present at the stop contact and electrical connector when the switch is turned off (OFF) wiper switch, ignition on (ON). If there is no voltage, check the electrical circuit between the wiper motor and the fuse box.
