Relieve pressure in the fuel system.
Turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
Remove the air filter housing.
Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.
Using a special tool, release the fuel line retaining clamp and disconnect it from the fuel pulsation damper.

Remove the bolts and the fuel pulsation damper from the fuel distribution line (figure 5.27).
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
