Changing the oil in a manual transmission
1. Raise the vehicle with a jack and place it on safety supports. Remove the lower protective cover from the engine.
2. Unscrew the drain plug(s) and drain the oil (see Figure 17.1).
3. Install the drain plug(s) and tighten it to the specified torque (see Specifications).
4. Fill with new oil up to the bottom edge of the filler hole (see paragraph 17 and section "Liquids and lubricants").
